A 57-year-old repeatedly convicted man detained in Apsheronsky district of Krasnodar region admitted to kidnapping and rape 34-year-old woman in Novorossiysk.
Yuri Sparikhin spent a total of 42 years of his life behind bars, was convicted of rape and murder, including of children. He was last released on June 19, but less than two months later, on the evening of August 14, he committed a new crime in the courtyard on Heroes of Paratroopers Street in Novorossiysk.
“I sat down on a bench, sat for a long time, and then a car drove up, inside a woman, slightly made up,” – said the suspect
He intercepted her on the way to the entrance, put a knife to her throat and demanded to get back behind the wheel. With threats and coercion, the recidivist “committed crimes against her against sexual inviolability,” the ICR said in a release. But Sparikhin did not stop there: he made his victim travel around the city, and then in a deserted place once again abused her, after which he disappeared.
He was quickly detained, but on 17 August the attacker escaped from court, where he should have chosen a preventive measure. The suspect was detained only on August 20. He is charged with crimes against personal freedom, sexual inviolability, as well as against property.
