A petition in the web change.org Posted Wednesday he mentioned the original description of the film, the screenshots of which show that the main character is “fascinated with a twerking dance team” and “begins to explore his femininity” in hopes of joining.

The petition called the film “disgusting.” She also assured that she “sexualizes” an 11-year-old girl for the “visual pleasure of pedophiles” and is a negative influence on children, which is why they requested that it be removed from Netflix.

As is known, the French film is about a Senegalese Muslim girl from a traditional family who is caught between the conservative values ​​of her environment and the culture of the Internet. In fact, “Cuties” emphasizes the sexualization of girls. The film will hit Netflix on September 9, and already had its premiere at the Sundance 2020 festival.
