Foreign newspapers highlighted the Egyptian Interior Ministry’s arrest of a neurotic formation that specialized in shoplifting in the city of Egypt, wearing face masks decreed by Egyptian international Mohamed Salah, the star of Liverpool.

The security services arrested an armed gangster formation consisting of four people, specializing in the theft of shops by the method of cutting locks.

The international website “Goal”, in turn, dealt with the news and confirmed that the thieves used Mohamed Salah’s masks to conceal their identity and deny the theft of shops, adding that the gang tried to escape, but they were finally arrested.

The site added that Salah is the biggest sports star in Egypt, and is a key player for the national team with 41 goals in 67 games for his country, and his position has increased since he moved to Liverpool in 2017.

The “talksport” website also reported the news from the “Masrawy” website, confirming that the police arrested the four thieves while trying to steal a store in Hassanein Heikal Street, in the Nasr City neighborhood of the Egyptian capital Cairo.

He pointed out that Salah is considered a symbol in his homeland, but he was unable to help Egypt pass the group stage stage of the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

The American “Bleacher Report” site highlighted the news through the official account on the social networking site “Facebook”, and published an illustrative picture of the fans who wore Salah’s masks in the World Cup in Russia.
