Four men were killed in a one-sided traffic accident on the Rijksweg in the Frisian Jirnsum on Saturday evening. That reports the Police Sunday morning.
The car the four were in went off the road, hit a tree and ended up in a ditch. All occupants were killed.
It concerns two men aged 35 and 41 and two aged 39. They all come from the municipality of Súdwest-Fryslân.
The police started an investigation. Specialists from Forensic Investigation Traffic conducted an investigation in the evening and night. Police are also looking for cyclists who may have witnessed the accident.
