Interesting information about the Galaxy S22 and GalaxyS22 + appeared

For those who don’t know, this is the newest sensor from the South Korean tech giant with a native 50-megapixel resolution and a 1/1.57-inch sensor with a pixel size of 1μm. This sensor is capable of shooting 12.5 megapixels in four pixel binning mode and capturing images up to 100 megapixels using a remosaic algorithm.

In other words, the new ISOCELL GN5 sensor is one step above the 12MP 1/1.76-inch sensor found on the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21+. However, this sensor is still SamsungIt’s not the best 50-megapixel sensor under the arsenal. Instead, the brand may ship new premium handsets with ISOCELL GN1 sensors or even ISOCELL GN2 sensors, both of which have larger sensors than the ISOCELL GN5 and can capture better images thanks to the larger native pixels.
Also, a rumor had previously surfaced that the Galaxy S22 and GalaxyS22+ will have a triple camera setup on the back. This will consist of a 50-megapixel primary shooter, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 10-megapixel telephoto sensor that offers 3x optical zoom. So we can expect the S22 duo to offer better magnification than the S21 and S21+, which only offer digital zoom.
