Inter Milan faced with Real Madrid in continued Champions League. Winning a fixed price for the Nerazzurri.
The fourth matchday of Group B of the Champions League brings together Inter Milan vs Real Madrid at the Giuseppe Meazza, Thursday (26/11/2020) early morning Western Indonesian Time. When we met at Madrid headquarters, Inter fell 2-3.
Inter are currently in fourth place with two points. Madrid are third on four points, behind Shakhtar Donetsk (4 points) and Borussia Moenchengladbach (5 points).
In order to keep their chance of qualifying for the last 16, Inter must be able to pick up their first victory in the Champions League this season. Trainer Antonio Conte insisted that Inter need an additional seven points from the rest of the group stage matches.
“We have to win games, get good results: there is no other choice,” Conte was quoted as saying on the official UEFA website.
“There are three games left and we need at least seven points to qualify, or to win all the remaining matches in the group which is probably the most difficult in the Champions League,” he continued.
At last season’s Champions League event, Inter failed to advance to the knock-out phase. Conte’s men were only able to finish in third place in Group F after losing to Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund.
“I think we deserve something more than the results we’ve got so far, so we have to reflect on how we can improve,” Conte said.
“Last season we often started games with the right attitude. We improved possession this season compared to the previous one, but at the same time we let our opponents create too many chances. As I said before, if we want to compete, we have to raise the bar at all levels, “the former Juventus and Chelsea coach insisted.
