LONDON – Inter Milan tried to bring two Chelsea players in the 2020 summer transfer market. A total of two players in question are Emerson Palmieri (left fullback) and Olivier Giroud (striker). To get the two players, Inter dare to bid 30 million euros or approximately IDR 489.1 billion.
The nominal above has not received a response from Chelsea management. However, recently Chelsea’s management issued a rejection of the offer submitted by Inter. Previously, Inter offered Emerson for 20 million euros (Rp326.1 billion).

However, the offer was rejected by Chelsea because they priced Emerson at 30 million euros. However, instead of raising the price of their offer to Emerson, Inter actually appeared with a new request.
In their new offer, Inter did raise the offer, but management Nerazzurri – nickname Inter – asking for two players of the Blues at once. Now the question becomes, how important is Emerson and Giroud for Inter’s next season?
Emerson is needed by Inter next season, given that Inter have minimal personnel in wing back positions or fullback left this season. At present, Inter only have Cristiano Biraghi to operate in that position. Actually, Inter still have Kwadwo Asamoah, but the Ghanaian player is vulnerable to injury.

Because of this, Emerson could provide equal competition to Biraghi. So, what about Giroud? Just like at Chelsea, the role of Giroud is not far from the attacking coating. At present, Inter have a death duo on behalf of Lautaro Martinez and Romelu Lukaku.
