Intel says it is open to manufacturing CPUs and GPUs from companies like AMD and NVIDIA

Although the CPU and GPU lines from Intel compete with names like AMD it’s at NVIDIA, the company does not rule out partnerships with these (and other) companies in the future. In an interview with The Verge, Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger said this the company’s foundries are open for business with any interested company.

Gelsinger says he met with executives from other companies during the recent opening of new information factory in Ohio. At the time, him it would have welcomed companies interested in exploring the structure of the placegoing so far as to declare that it would support its logo near the production lines where the new components are made.

In addition, the CEO of Intel said he would be “very excited” if could do the same with the logos of competitors like AMD and NVIDIA. “It’s the right thing to do at that level. These are big investments and they are important for technology: they generate technical communitiesGelsinger explained.

Intel promises to make the fastest hardware on the market

Gelsinger states this it does not bother to provide infrastructure for its competitors for believing that Intel will gain a lot of space in all the markets in which it operates. The executive said he believes Intel will win consumer confidence produce both the fastest CPUs and GPUs on the market.

“We are here to win in this space. Make no mistake about it. We build the best performing computers in the world. We will also continue our integrated graphics”, The executive said. According to him, the technological advances the company is having will ensure that many consumers will be surprised in a short time.

The CEO also says so Intel wants to gain space among customers like Qualcomm and Apple, destroying a TSMC as a world-leading foundry in just a few years. “TSMC has been perfecting this business model for 30 years. They are good at it and have an ecosystem around them.Gelsinger said, adding that his company will differentiate in the area offer more innovations and unique perspectives of business.
