There will be more than 150 laptops based on 11th Gen Intel Core processors from partners
REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA – Intel launched the latest mobile PC processor, the 11th Generation Intel Core with graphics Intel Iris Xe. These processors support productivity, collaboration, creation, gaming and entertainment across Windows and ChromeOS-based laptops.
“Our mission at Intel is to push technology to deliver breakthrough technology to help millions of people around the world,” said Director of Retail Sales Asia Pacific & Japan Territory, Thomas Tapsas, in a virtual press conference, Thursday (26/11).
This 11th Generation processor brings the latest architecture to the industry, along with graphics, connectivity, battery life, to bring the best experience from laptops. By enhancing Intel’s new SuperFin process technology, the 11th Gen Intel Core processors optimize power consumption efficiency with performance.
More than 150 laptops based Intel processor The 11th Gen Core expected from partners including Acer, Asus, Dell, Dynabook, HP, Lenovo, LG, MSI, Razer, Samsung and more.
Intel also introduced a branded platform Intel Evo for verified laptop designs from the Project Athena program with second edition specifications and KEI.
Based on the 11th Generation Intel Core processor with Intel Iris Xe graphics, a device bearing the Intel Evo badge is verified as the best laptop for doing things. More than 20 verified laptops are expected to be available this year.
The Intel Evo offers consistent responsiveness to the battery, with the system restarting after “sleep” mode in less than a second. Usage of 9 hours or more on systems with FHD displays, as well as fast charging up to 4 hours in less than 30 minutes on systems with FHD displays.
The Intel Evo platform also delivers wired and wireless connectivity with integrated universal Thunderbolt 4 and Intel Wi-Fi 6 (Gig +) wired connectivity, as well as audio, webcam and display, all wrapped up in a sleek thin and light form factor for a premium experience.
For graphics, the 11th Generation Intel Core processors come with Intel Iris Xe graphics. This processor represents system-on-chip (SoC) for productivity, creation, gaming, entertainment and collaboration.
For collaboration, 11th Gen processors are powered by AI experiences, including enhanced audio with CPU offload for noise cancellation via Intel Gaussian and Neural Accelerator 2.0 (Intel GNA), blurring backgrounds with AI assistance and super resolution video, latest video decode , and Intel Wi-Fi 6 (Gig +) integrated Wi-Fi technology for video conferencing.
Meanwhile, for photo editing, this processor is claimed to be 2.7 times faster and 2 times faster for video editing than similar products. There’s also support for 8K HDR displays and up to four 4K HDR displays simultaneously.
On the entertainment front, the 11th Gen Intel Core processor is the industry’s first processor to be powered by Dolby Vision hardware. This support provides a more immersive content experience and increases system-level power by approximately 20 percent over the previous generation, which translates to over an additional hour of video streaming on battery.
For gaming, the processor is claimed to have two times better performance than the previous generation.
