With Windows 10 2004 there is also a new version of the Windows 10 Update Assistent. It comes officially from Microsoft and is intended for users who want the final release as soon as possible. You then only have to start the free tool from Microsoft, which is only around 5 MByte small, under Windows 10 and then follow the wizard.-
First, the Windows Update Assistant checks whether your system is even ready for Windows 10 2004. If so, the download of the new Windows version starts in the background. Microsoft then adds a half-hour grace period. You could use this to close all open programs and possibly to back up some important data. As mentioned above, you should definitely have made a backup beforehand, because there can be problems with upgrades. This doesn’t have to be the case with you, but better safe than sorry.
