TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Police declared Inspector General Ferdy Sambo, the former Head of the Propam Division will be placed in a special location at the Mobile Brigade Corps Command Headquarters for 30 days. The placement was in accordance with instructions from the Special Inspectorate of the Police.
“Info from Itsus for 30 days,” said the Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police, Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo, Sunday, August 7, 2022.
Itsus puts Ferdy Sambo in Mako Brimob for allegedly violating the procedures for handling the scene of the death of Brigadier J at his official residence in Duren Tiga, South Jakarta. Violation of the procedure in the form of CCTV taking and unprofessional handling of crime scenes.
Ferdy Sambo is included in the list of 25 Polri personnel who have violated procedural, unprofessional handling of the Duren Tiga crime scene. He and three other people were placed in a special place in the Mobile Brigade Corps for the purpose of being examined by the Special Inspection Supervision (Wasriksus) by Itsus.
Dedi explained, in handling cases of death, Brigadier J there are two teams working, namely the special team (Timsus) working pro-justicialy to uncover criminal events, and Irsus working to uncover violations of the code of ethics.
He said the special placement of Ferdy Sambo was not the detention or determination of a suspect.
