“Insects and Nature Walks: A Calming Episode with Classical Music”

Welcome back to a new episode of Calm with Classic, the podcast series for your daily moment of rest. Today’s music naturally fits the theme ‘Insects’ again. You will encounter most insects during a walk through nature. As a teenager, Richard Strauss took a long walk through the Alps in 1879. The beautiful views in nature inspired him to make a composition of it later: An Alpine Symphony. Strauss wrote the music for more than 100 instruments, including an organ, a wind machine, and cowbells.
