Kavya Madhavan paid tribute to Malayali’s favorite actor Innocent. Kavya’s face also showed the loss of the person she was closest to in her life. The physical body of Innocent, who passed away at 10:30 on Sunday night, was brought from the Lakeshore Hospital to the Kadawantra Indoor Stadium at 7.55 am on Monday and was placed for public viewing. A huge crowd flocked to the stadium to see their beloved star. Mammootty was accompanied by his beloved colleague at the Lakeshore Hospital and later at the stadium with a grief-stricken face. Actors like Dileep, Siddique, Ivala Babu Madhupal, Saikumar, Mukesh, Dulquer Salmaan, Navya Nair, Beena Antony and many others came to see off Innocent at Kadawantra Indoor Stadium. Sureshkumar, Menaka Suresh, Badusha, Joshi and many colleagues from the film industry were present.
The mourning procession left for the birthplace at 11:30 AM and reached Iringalakuda Town Hall at 2:30 AM after receiving the last tributes from the fans gathered in Aluva, Angamaly and Chalakudy. It was six o’clock by the time the body was brought to the home in Iringalakuda Thekeangadi, witnessed by a huge crowd that flocked to catch a glimpse of the loved one. Innachan’s beloved Alice collapses, hugging her lover’s lifeless body. Son Sonnet, daughter-in-law Rashmi, grandchildren Anna and Junior Innocent could not assuage the grief.
