Several people were slightly injured when a bus collided with a car in downtown Bremen. A passenger was taken to a hospital by rescue workers, the police said on Saturday.

According to the information, the 39-year-old bus driver drove on Friday evening on the Mayor Smidt Bridge in the direction of Neustadt. Another 39-year-old driver apparently wanted to overtake the bus. The collision occurred for initially unknown reasons. Property damage was caused to both vehicles. The driver of the car was also slightly injured.
