TNI Admiral Yudo Margono carry out entry briefings at the beginning of his leadership as TNI Commander. He presented 7 main points before the senior officials (pati) of the TNI.
The entry briefing for the TNI Commander was held at Gatot Soebroto Hall, TNI HQ, Cilangkap, East Jakarta on Wednesday (21/12) and was attended by Army Chief of Staff General Dudung Abdurachman , Air Force Chief of Staff, TNI Marshal Fadjar Prasetyo, TNI Chief Headquarters Officer, TNI Headquarters and TNI Commander.
“I hope that in the future we will be able to carry out our duties solidly, in synergy and in accordance with what I conveyed in my vision in the last suitability and correctness test as well as yesterday’s President’s briefing,” said Yudo seen on Puspen Instagram account by TNI, @puspentni, Thursday (12/22/2022).
He called on all TNI soldiers as a major component of the defense to sincerely and sincerely continue to increase their service to the nation and state.
“I would like to call on all TNI soldiers to sincerely continue to increase our service as a major component of national defense in defending the sovereignty and integrity of the country we truly love with the unitary state of the Republic of Indonesia,” he explained.
Yudo Margono revealed that the TNI, which comes from the people, is part of the people and fights for the people, will always be guided by government policies. The TNI must adhere to the national development vision and mission that was proclaimed by the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo (Jokowi), which is to create a sovereign, independent and personality-based Indonesia based on mutual cooperation.
In the initial briefing, TNI Admiral Yudo Margono reaffirmed his vision and mission as commander of TNI, namely the NKRI Patriot Army, as he conveyed during the fit and proper test before members of Commission I of the DPR on Friday (2/12) .
It was noted that there were 7 main points made by Yudo to the attendees of the TNI Commander’s entry briefing. First, sincere service based on faith and devotion to Almighty God, firmly guided by Pancasila, the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, Sapta Marga and 8 Mandatory TNI. Secondly, the superior human resources of the TNI Patriot NKRI soldiers. Thirdly, honing combat instincts and the ability to perform tasks in the concept of joint operations (Opsgab). Fourth, the TNI protects and helps the community. Fifth, implement bureaucratic reform within the TNI organizational culture and environment. Sixth, instill warrior values. And seventh, stop being arrogant, the TNI must be firm but still humane and respected.
Ask TNI for high alert
Yudo said that the operational readiness of TNI units must be able to ensure the sovereignty and integrity of the state. For this reason, the TNI must be extremely alert and ready to be mobilized throughout Indonesia.
He said that before it still needed a matter of days, now the strength of TNI stock must be able to do it in hours.
“This means that the readiness of soldiers and their defense gear to assist in carrying out operations and aiding the community as well as upholding the sovereignty of the TNI must be mobilized rapidly,” he said.
He explained that the key to quickly achieving vigilance and readiness is that the development or maintenance of defense equipment is also the main thing, so that it can be easily mobilized. Additionally, TNI Soldiers everywhere on duty are also expected to participate and always be there to help people in need, especially when natural disasters strike.
