The Russian occupiers launched a missile attack Zaporozhyeresulting in the destruction of infrastructure.

According to him, the enemy fired missiles at the regional center and the outskirts of the city.
“The infrastructure was destroyed. The information on the victims was specified. The air defense forces worked,” said the head of the Zaporizhzhya Regional Military District.
At the same time, he urged local residents to pay attention and, if they notice unexploded ordnance or its remains, do not approach, do not take photos, but report the find to rescuers. Starukh also urged not to disclose information about the bombing.

Since the start of the large-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine in February, the Russians have captured much of the Zaporozhye region. The largest cities in the region – Berdyansk, Melitopol, Tokmak, Energodar (where the largest nuclear power plant in Europe is located – Zaporozhye) fell under occupation. The regional center is under the control of Ukraine.
On September 23-27, the invaders held a so-called referendum in the Zaporozhye and Kherson region on secession from Ukraine.
At the same time, the regional center, Zaporozhye, which was bombed by the enemy during the war on a large scale with varying regularity, during the “referendum” and after, began to be increasingly bombed.
In particular, on 2 October, the Russian invaders struck Zaporozhye and its suburbs with four S-300 missiles, destroyed industrial infrastructure.
It was also known on September 24th at least five “arrivals, an enemy rocket hit the residential sector of the regional center and caused a fire in a multi-storey building.
