Infop Launches E-Learning Platform for Technical-Professional Training

He National Institute of Vocational Training (Infop) inaugurated its E-Lerning platform in the Capital Industriala highly innovative technological program that responds to new market trends.

Institution authorities highlighted the benefits of this platform, which allows students to receive technical-professional training virtually or blended, accessing more than 150 online workshops.

fredy cerratoexecutive director of Infopsaid that this simple modality has allowed Hondurans to enter the labor market with a certification from the institution.

“More than 75,000 Hondurans have been trained under this methodology to date, demonstrating its effectiveness and scope,” the official reiterated.

Cerrato explained that due to the growing demand for online courses both individually and by private companies, institutions and other organizations, the Infop has decided to expand its physical and technological facilities to the San Pedro Sula headquarters.

In this center there are now two laboratories highly equipped with state-of-the-art computer systems and qualified personnel to provide advice, technical support and all teaching related to virtual workshops.

Among the courses are: programming, database, artificial intelligence, entrepreneurship, “marketing”, orientation of networks and telecommunications, among others.

Certifications

Jeffery Alvaradohead of the distance training department at Infopnoted that the workshops are supported and certified by technology giants worldwide.

Investment

500 million lempiras will be invested for the construction and improvement of Infop centers.
