Infinix Note 60 Series Confirmed for Release, Pro Model to Feature snapdragon 7s Gen 4
Infinix has registered three new devices in the SDPPI (Directorate General of Post and telecommunications) certification database, signaling an upcoming release for the Note 60 series. The devices, identified by model numbers X6878, X6887, and X6879, will launch as the Infinix Note 60, Note Edge, and Note 60 Pro, respectively. This certification confirms the commercial names and model numbers ahead of their official debut.
The Note 60 Pro is generating particular interest as it’s poised to be the first Infinix smartphone powered by a Qualcomm snapdragon processor. Previously, Infinix devices have exclusively utilized MediaTek chipsets. Geekbench testing reveals the Note 60 Pro will incorporate the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, announced in August, currently found only in the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ in China.
Geekbench data also confirms the Note 60 Pro will feature 8GB of RAM and run Android 16. Details regarding screen specifications, camera capabilities, and battery capacity remain undisclosed.
