Many packages in the van were destroyed or badly damaged by the fire. After putting out the worst of the fire, the fire brigade pulled the package out so that the flames could not spread further.

It is not clear how the fire started. During the firefighting work, the parking lot was closed to traffic. Another company disposed of the damaged package. The people who should have received a package will be notified.
The driver of the bus was released with a fright.
