One of the faithful saw the young man stab himself and immediately called an ambulance. An ambulance then arrived and gave him first aid. After his health returned to normal, he was taken to the police station and interrogated.

The officials asked the expatriate about the reason for the suicide attempt and so on. The Arab Times reports that he is likely to be deported from Kuwait. Further legal proceedings have been initiated by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Action against fake accounts
Kuwait has decided to take action against fake social media accounts. Al-Qabas newspaper reported that the authorities are ready to take strong measures in the situation of spreading fake news through fake social media accounts, creating confusion among people and reporting troubles in the country.

Government-related agencies have given instructions to monitor many fake accounts that spread misleading information and create sentiment against the administration and judiciary and find who is behind it and bring them to justice.
