Investigation Underway as Officials Identify Victims Through DNA
Aviation authorities are meticulously combing over the wreckage of a recent airplane crash, as families endure the heartbreaking process of identifying loved ones. DNA samples are being collected in Ahmedabad to help formalize the casualty count. This investigation follows the crash, which is thought to be the first for this specific aircraft model.
Officials confirmed that a flight data recorder has been recovered, which will play a pivotal role in the ongoing investigation. The process of identification is slow, with the final death toll awaiting the completion of DNA analysis. Among the victims of the crash were a wide range of individuals, including public figures.
One survivor, Vishwash Kumar Ramesh, 40, described his unexpected survival. He stated, “Initially, I too thought that I was about to die, but then I opened my eyes and realised that I was still alive.”
