Several cyclists have recently driven up for motorways and highways – writes the Békés County news portal. The cases may be due to the medical meteorological effects of extreme weather, but it is a fact that one day a man was cycling on the M1 motorway, another on the M3 stop lane, and cyclists were already driving up to the Békés county section of the M44. A foreign man and a Hungarian woman were targeted by the police. They both said they got lost and unintentionally went on the driveway.
Andrea Szombati, a spokesman for the county headquarters, also said that shortly after handing over the M44, a man was driving a wheelchair near the Szarvas junction on the side of the highway. The 68-year-old man from Szarvas told the police that he wanted to try the new way and wanted to get to Békésszentandrás.
However, the regulations of the TRAFFIC clearly describe that only vehicles that can travel on a flat road at a speed of at least 60 km / h may be driven on motorways. The driving of other vehicles is strictly prohibited. In addition, the stop lane may only be used by certain vehicles for continuous driving.
