According to data Petropolskaya, prices in online stores may rise due to the fact that since October 1, banks have increased their commission for accepting transactions from cards. The expert recalled that earlier the commission for online payments was 1% of the amount. Recall that this rule was introduced by the Central Bank in April in order to reduce business expenses, thereby leveling losses due to quarantine restrictions.
Now this rule has been canceled, and banks have begun to return fees for the services they provide to Internet commerce to the pre-crisis level. Thus, the cost of goods can grow by 1, or even 1.5%. However, the expert stressed that prices may not rise everywhere. In particular, stores that have implemented a fast payment system using a QR code can keep the same cost of goods.
