According to the RKI, the incidences in the region continue to fall – in almost all districts and urban districts. Only one district is above the 1000 mark. The hotspot rules can even be overridden in a circle.

Nationwide, on Friday, December 3, there was a different trend: The corona incidence is rising again slightly after a decline.

The district Dingolfing-Landau recorded an incidence below 1000 on Friday, December 3, at 786.7 for the fifth day in a row. This means that the district can relax the strict Corona rules for hotspots from Saturday, as the district office officially announced on Friday morning.

The district is now under 1000 on Friday Rottal-Inn (936). However, the local lockdown does not end until the relevant seven-day incidence is fallen below on five consecutive days. Another important criterion: It must be recognizable that the trend is pointing downwards – and, in the worst case, the 1000 mark is not exceeded again on the following day.

A district over 1000

This is why the hotspot rules still apply here, even though the incidences are below 1000: in the city and district Rosenheim, in the district Passau, in the district Traunstein, in the district Berchtesgadener Land and in the county Mühldorf am Inn.

This means that only one district in the region breaks the 1000 mark: the district Freyung-Grafenau with 1116.7. But here, too, there has been a downward trend since November 23. In a nationwide comparison, the Lower Bavarian district ranks 19th. The incidence is highest in Bavaria. Only one Bavarian district – Weihlheim-Schonau – also has an incidence of over 1000 (1096.0).
