– A 9-year-old girl was found dead in a house in Incheon, and the police investigated. The mother in her 40s was found collapsed. Police are investigating the woman’s murder of her 9-year-old daughter and attempting an extreme option.

The Incheon Michuhol Police Department announced on the 16th that it was arresting and investigating Mr. A in his 40s for murder.

Mr. A is accused of murdering his daughter B, 9, in a house in Michuhol-gu, Incheon at around 3:27 pm the previous day. At that time, Mr. A called 119 and reported, “My daughter is dead.”

When the police and 119 paramedics arrived at the scene, Ms. B, who was on the bed in the room, was dead. Mr. A was found collapsed on the bathroom floor.

Inside the house, traces of trying to burn clothes and blankets were found. A, who collapsed while inhaling smoke, was taken to a hospital for treatment, and was arrested by the police upon discharge.

The police requested an autopsy of the body from the National Institute of Scientific Investigation to determine the cause of death of Miss B, who died.

The police explained that Ms. B was not in school because she was not registered.

Mr. A stated in the police, “Being pessimistic about the situation in which he is suffering from life, he tried to kill his daughter and make extreme choices.”

A police official explained, “We need to investigate more about the motives for which Mr. A committed the crime, etc.,” and “I will apply for an arrest warrant as soon as the investigation is completed.
