In Vinnitsa, a car driver knocked down people who were crossing the road at a pedestrian crossing. The victims were hospitalized.

The victims were a man and a woman. The blow was so strong that as a result, the man was thrown up and twisted in the air. The woman was more fortunate – her car only touched her sideways. As can be seen from the cameras, after the collision, the man picked up and ran to the woman.
Medics and patrolmen went to the scene. The man and woman were hospitalized, but since the victims escaped with only bruises, they were already discharged.
The driver was sober, a protocol was drawn up against him under Part 1 of Article 122 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses, which entails the imposition of a fine in the amount of twenty tax-free minimum incomes of citizens.
According to the official statistics of the National Police, 16,599 road accidents occurred in Ukraine in October 2021. They killed 340 people and injured 2,615.
For 10 months of 2021, 154,480 road accidents occurred in the country, which led to the death of 2,592 people, 24,905 people were injured in these accidents.
