As reported by the Ukraine 24 TV channel, Deputy Interior Minister Anton Gerashchenko told journalists the reason for the resignation of his boss Arsen Avakov from the post of Interior Minister.
According to him, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky personally asked Avakov about this, and this happened a long time ago.
“The decision was weighed, it was being prepared for a long time. In a narrow circle, Avakov’s resignation was known for a long time,” Gerashchenko said.
