In Brilevka, Kherson region, the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked a train of the Russian Railways, which delivered military equipment, ammunition and soldiers of the Russian army from Crimea. This is stated in summary Operational Command South, released on the night of Monday, 1 August.
“Enemy losses are being established,” the command noted.
At the same time, Advisor to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Anton Gerashchenko clarifiesthat the defenders attacked the enemy train on the night of Friday to Saturday with a high-precision HIMARS strike.
According to him, the composition of more than 40 wagons was destroyed. As a result, about 80 invaders were killed, about 200 more were injured.
In addition, referring to intelligence, Gerashchenko reports that all the drivers and engineers of the Russian Railways company, who transported military cargo from Crimea to the Kherson region, also died during the shelling.
“This is not the first case of the death of Russian Railways drivers in Ukraine. And not the last,” the adviser stressed.
Recall, on the eve of the temporarily occupied Skadovsk, an explosion thundered on the territory of the military unit of the enemy. According to eyewitnesses, APU struck a large warehouse ammunition.
