Where to test

In southern Bohemia, self-payers can currently be tested at the sampling points of all South Bohemian hospitals, with the exception of České Budějovice, which tests only indicated cases.

SYNLAB laboratories currently operate two sampling workplaces in České Budějovice for sampling for the examination of direct evidence of SARS-CoV-2 infection. In the recently opened mobile collection office in Vrbenská Street in České Budějovice, both patients indicated by a doctor and self-payers can arrive for collection. In both cases, they must be ordered in advance in the new online reservation system at www.synlab.cz/covid-19.

The collection office in U Tří lvů Street only accepts self-payers and the telephone line +420 731 595 088 is used for booking for collection. Synlab is also testing in Český Krumlov. The Nextclinics laboratory tests self-payers and indicated persons in a tent at the main entrance to the exhibition grounds in Husova Street. Samples are taken without prior order from Monday to Thursday, always from 8 am to 2 pm.

So far, the České Budějovice Hospital is testing in two places. However, the operation of the collection point for cars at Planá Airport will be suspended from Saturday 21 November due to a decrease in the number indicated for examination. Until the end of November, it will remain in the “stand-by” mode, ready for quick reactivation in the event of an increase in the number of people indicated for the examination. The main pedestrian collection point in the main car park of the hospital, which is open on weekdays from 9 am to 2 pm, will continue to operate. Examinations for covid-19 are performed by the České Budějovice hospital only to persons with a valid request from a doctor or hygienic service, after prior ordering using the ordering system available at www.nemcb.cz.

In Tábor, there is also a drive-in point in Covid-19 at Čápova dvor in front of the Stop shop for self-payers and indicated cases. The ordering system of this collection point is available at https://klt-tabor.ml-software.cz/. There are now a total of 14 sampling points in the region.
