However, it is when we park our car that we have to be very, very careful. Especially when we park the car in the sun. With over thirty degrees of temperature, our vehicle can easily get hot. In these cases, many do not know how to behave by choosing to act in the most wrong way possible.

A study presented by Seat, a Spanish car manufacturer that is part of the Volkswagen group, was very clear about this. Driving a car that was previously left in the sun exposes us to the risk of burning our hands. But not only; we feel like we have a BAC of 0.5 g / liter on.
Let’s talk about the legal limit for not being considered in a state of intoxication. An anomalous and very dangerous effect from a safety point of view. To aggravate the situation even more, the fact that this effect occurs from 35 degrees onwards (which is practically safe in almost all of Italy). Angel Suarez, engineer of the SEAT technical center in Martorell in Spain, also expressed himself in this regard.
He reminded that you have to be especially careful when driving in extreme temperatures because sand inside the passenger compartment, 35 degrees are reached “the reaction time of which driving is 20% greater than when driving at 25 degrees”. An increase which, as mentioned, is equivalent to being at the limit of the declared and illegal state of intoxication.
Suarez also added that one of the most common mistakes drivers make when using the air conditioner is turning it on before the car is aired. That is, if we lower the windows or open the doors for about thirty seconds before turning on the air conditioning, the hot air inside the passenger compartment will come out quickly, being much lighter than that outside. Consequently, the temperature will drop as well.
