In the Olomouc Region, the number of confirmed cases of infection with a new type of coronavirus increased in the last week, a total of 1,087 were registered. The number of currently ill patients is also growing, which is 157. The increase in the number of confirmed infections when it ranged from 18 to 28 cases. The last time hygienists registered more than fifty infections per week at the beginning of July, when nine hundred cases of covid-19 were registered in the region. This follows from the data of the Ministry of Health.
