Jakarta, CNN Indonesia

The culprit persecution nurse RS Siloam Sriwijaya, Palembang, Jason Tjakrawinata, delivered an apology for his brutal actions. He slapped, kicked, and grabbed Christina Ramauli S, as the victim who handled her child while receiving treatment at the hospital.

Jason committed physical violence against Christina after the victim pulled out an IV needle against the offender’s toddler child. It is known that the child’s hand was bleeding after the needle was removed.

Jason admitted that his emotions exploded from exhaustion after days of caring for his toddler. The child has pneumonia.

“I apologize for this momentary emotion. I apologize to all parties who feel aggrieved by me, especially the victim. Also the hospital. This is out of control because of fatigue,” he added at the Palembang Police Headquarters, Saturday (17/4).

As a result of this brutal action, Christina suffered bruises to her face and stomach. The victim also experienced psychological trauma. Currently, he is undergoing treatment.

Not only attacking Christina, Jason also slammed the cellphone of AR, one of the nurses who recorded the abuse.

In the video, Jason appears to be scratching with a high tone. He continued to commit acts of violence even though he had been divorced by other officers and nurses.

Jason had admitted to being a member of the police. This was acknowledged by the nurses and security officers who were at the scene when Jason slapped, grabbed and kicked Christina.

“Incidentally, during the incident, the patient’s family next to the incident room was a member of the police. The person broke up and admitted that he was a police officer. When the police officer tried to break up, JT also admitted that he was a member of the police,” said Director of Nursing at Siloam Sriwijaya Hospital Benedikta Beti, Friday (16/4).

However, Benedikta further said that the investigation carried out by the hospital found that Jason was not a member of the police.

As a result of his actions, Jason was threatened with multiple charges. He was charged with Article 351 of the Criminal Code for maltreatment and carries the threat of two years in prison. In addition, he was charged with Article 406 of the Criminal Code on Destruction.

Currently, Jason has been named a suspect. He was detained at the Palembang Police Headquarters.

He was arrested at his residence, which is located in Kayuagung District, Ogan Komering Ilir (OKI) Regency, South Sumatra, Friday (16/4) at around 21.00 WIB.

“The suspect immediately came when he was picked up, maybe because he already knew what he was involved in. Arriving at the Polres at 24.00, he was immediately investigated,” explained Kapolrestabes Palembang Senior Commissioner Irvan Prawira Satyaputra during the case title.

The police have examined witnesses and confiscated a number of evidences in the form of CCTV footage, video footage, clothing and the results of the victim’s post mortem.
