“Compost, I didn’t know what that meant,” says Yanis, 20, outspoken. For this young man from Deuil-la-Barre, destined to remain idle all year round after having missed out on Parcoursup last year, the “environmental and digital animation at the service of re-employment” training from the School of Ecological Transition (Being) of Sarcelles was a godsend. He not only learned “what a market gardener was”, but he is also now able to make a birdhouse with laser cutting or a table football with the wood of an old window.
