In Russia, a service bus rammed the gates of an enterprise in the town of Lesnoy in the Sverdlovsk Region and knocked over 20 people at a bus stop. This was reported by Interfax on Thursday, June 10.
“Six people died and about 15, previously, received injuries of varying severity and were taken to the hospital to provide the necessary medical care,” said Valery Gorelykh, head of the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.
According to preliminary data, the brakes of the bus failed when descending from the mountain. The driver could not hold the car, and it flew to a stop. The bus hit people whose shift had already ended. At the same time, there were 48 people on the bus itself. They weren’t hurt.
All victims of the road accident are employees of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise Kombinat Electrokhimpribor (part of Rosatom).
