In the Russian Federation, the number of cases of coronavirus reached 634 thousand 437 cases. During the pandemic, 9073 patients died who were diagnosed with this infection.
Only in a day, 6791 cases were found in the country, of which 717 were in Moscow and 217 in St. Petersburg, the Information Center for Monitoring the Situation with Coronavirus (CTC) said.
The center has reported more than a hundred new deaths. “104 deaths have been confirmed over the past 24 hours,” the ICC noted. So, 24 people died in the capital, 6 in the suburbs, 21 in the Northern capital, 2 in the Leningrad region.
In addition to the Moscow region, the top five infections are Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug (285), Irkutsk (232) and Nizhny Novgorod (222) regions. Petersburg dropped to sixth place.
