POLICE – No injuries but a big fear. Police officers, called to disperse a crowd, were taken to task this Saturday, February 13 at the end of the afternoon, in Poissy in the Yvelines. They were greeted by about thirty people who threw projectiles and fireworks at them, relays BFMTV.
On Twitter, the Independent Union of Police Commissioners (SICP) posted a video taken from the group of young people in which one can clearly hear one of the attackers saying about the police officers: “kill them, kill them all”.

“Kill them, Kill them!” An ambush tended to #police. As a solution, the @Defenseurdroits promotes the creation of zones without identity checks, ie “lawless”. Mrs @clairehedon, these inhabitants are not sub-citizens. They have the right to safety! pic.twitter.com/4H22LVYjIB
The sequence triggered many reactions, starting with that of the mayor of the city, Karl Olive. In a press release the various right-wing councilor of Poissy expressed his “frustration” while the town hall considers that it has made many investments for young people, but also his anger: “there can be no excuse for such acts ”. Like the SICP, the elected representative who calls for calm, is also annoyed with the recommendations of the defender of rights, Claire Hédon, who has offers Friday to test areas without identity checks in order to respond in particular to discrimination.
A criticism taken up by the LREM deputy for Indre-et-Loire, François Jolivet, who for his part pointed to “lawless areas”.

Police officers violently attacked in #Poissy and threatened: “Kill them!” Kill Em ! “. Mrs @clairehedon@Defenseurdroits, here is the daily life of our police officers and some of our fellow citizens who, failing to ask for areas without checks, live in lawless areas.
Other elected officials have also expressed their indignation at these images, like the LR deputy of Bouches du Rhône, Valérie Boyer, or the president of Debout la France, Nicolas Dupont-Aignan.
