New measures are taken in Niort following the new announcements to fight against the epidemic of coronavirus.

What changes

The Tanlib bus adapt. From this Wednesday, March 18, urban network lines (lines 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, shuttles) will operate on Saturday hours. The long distance network (lines 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26), works normally. School services will no longer run until further notice. The regular regional lines will operate during the “school holidays” period.

From this Thursday 19 March a minimum transport service on request and for people with reduced mobility (Reservation the day before before 12 noon only by telephone on 0800 00 78 79)

Tanlib asks the users to go up by the back door, to give priority to the people who go down and to respect the gestures of hygiene in transport.

What continues

Home services from CCAS are maintained as meal porters or home care for the elderly.

The physical reception of users is ensured Monday to Friday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the administrative hotel, place Martin-Bastard, only for the issuance of birth certificates, death certificates, recognition certificates, acts relating to burials (concessions), the issuance of identity cards and passports in progress.

Les Halles remain open

The Halles de Niort remain open despite the confinement. Of security measures are taken : no more than 40 people inside. The entry flow will be managed with the wardens with an entry door and an exit door. Change in waste collection

Finally, waste collection is evolving in the agglomeration of Niort. Household waste collection continues everywhere but for the yellow bins this no longer concerns the collective (HLM, buildings …), not the suburban. No more collecting glass or green waste. From this Thursday, the opening of recycling centers will be adapted to the frequentation of users. The agglomeration specifies that access to Vallon D’Arty will be kept to a minimum.
