Les Halles remain open

The Halles de Niort remain open despite the confinement. Of security measures are taken : no more than 40 people inside. The entry flow will be managed with the wardens with an entry door and an exit door. On the forecourt, the safety distances of 1 meter must also be observed. “People have to play the game”, insists the director of SEM des Halles.

Change in waste collection

Finally, waste collection is evolving in the agglomeration of Niort. Household waste collection continues everywhere but for the yellow bins this no longer concerns the collective (HLM, buildings …), not the suburban. No more collecting glass or green waste. From this Thursday, the opening of recycling centers will be adapted to the frequentation of users. The agglomeration specifies that access to Vallon D’Arty will be kept to a minimum.
