Builders have set a new world record for the height of objects, according to the China National Electric Grid Corporation.

In the east of China, in Jiangsu province, two 385-meter power transmission towers were built. This is reported Xinhua.

According to the China National Electricity Corporation, builders have set a new world record for the height of objects.

The towers are five meters higher than the former “record holders” built in the neighboring province of Zhejiang in 2018. The towers are located 2.6 km apart on both banks of the Yangtze River.

It is expected that the towers will be put into operation in June this year after the installation of equipment and electrical wires is completed.
