Dressed in white and with flowers in their hands, Medicine students of the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN) and of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) march from the Hemicycle to Juarez to National Palace.

The protesters, some of the National School of Medicine and Homeopathy, demand security and justice for the killing of Mayte Viridiana Aguilar, a doctor killed in Tlahuacas well as by three medical students and an Uber driver, who were executed in Puebla.

“I am not like leaving, but I have always supported the causes, but the day I saw as the companion that Mayte was a graduate of our faculty, I heard about her,” said Angela Monteraza, a medical student at IPN.

The young people walk slowly and show a robe with the legend “Not a robe less” simulating blood stains. During their tour they placed a loop to check that outside people filtered and shout some slogans.

“I participate in the march for the feeling of solidarity for the classmates and the whole school has been finding out through social networks (…) that it is emphasized that security is needed and we are going to ask for all students security,” he said Andrés Ramírez student of the medical school.
