In Bosnia and Herzegovina, a 72-year-old man built a revolving house for his wife. She didn’t like the views from the windows

A house with a green facade and a red metal roof was built by Kusich in the city of Srbac in the north of the country. When he got married, he first built an ordinary house for the family. Lyubitsa wanted the bedroom windows to face the sunny side. This was done, but the living room windows looked out onto the road.

Kusic said that after a while his wife began to complain. She could not see who was coming to visit. Then the man had to tear down the wall between the two bedrooms to turn them into a living room and redo the electrical wiring.

In 2015, their son, who lived in the family home, got married. His parents gave him the upper floor, while they themselves began to live on the lower. Kusic’s wife started complaining about the inconvenience again. Then he said that he would build a house that revolves so that Lyubitsa “can spin it as she pleases”.

As the Associated Press writes, Kusich did not finish his studies at the university. He brought the project to life using electric motors and wheels from an old military transport vehicle. The house revolves around a seven-meter axis, from which you can see corn fields, farmland, a forest and a river, specified Reuters.

The house goes full circle in 24 hours at its slowest speed. With a fast spin, it can complete a circle in 22 seconds, Kusic said.

Man noted that he was inspired to such a project by the Serbian-American inventors Nikola Tesla and Mikhail Pupin. It took Kusic six years to complete the construction. Ohe was forced to go to the hospital due to heart problems.
