Hearthstone sambut Year of the Wolf simultaneously launch Festival of LegendsThe latest expansion in 2023. This year, we will see an update for the Core Set in April this year.
Hearthstone Year of The Wolf Expansion Rotation for Standard
Say goodbye to expansion Forged in the Barrens, United in Stormwind, and Fractured in Alterac Valley because the expansions will move from Standard. After the rotation, Standard will consist of Voyage to the Sunken City, Murder at Castle Nathria, March of the Lich King, and Festival of Legends with updated Core Sets.
In this update there are several things that have been added or returned. For keywords, one of the keywords that has been updated is Tradeable. This keyword was first introduced in the set United in Stormwind.
Tradeable will be a common keyword starting from this year. Because Tradeable only exists in United in Stormwind and Fractured in Alterac Valley, the developer will add cards from these expansions to the Core Set. Of course new Tradeable cards will be introduced during the Year of the Wolf and beyond.
Meanwhile, the keyword that is now returning is Magnetic. This keyword is present on several cards Mechs on The Boomsday Project. Mechs with the Magnetic keyword can be played as usual or placed to the left of other Mechs on the board so that they can join and give status, effects and more to these other Mechs.
These magnets were added temporarily to Core and will not be required to persist in Core after this update.
Priest gets an addition to his class mechanic. So far, the Priest Class has focused on healing, which might not feel as strong compared to other classes with armor and damage.
Therefore, Priest got a new keyword, Overheal. This keyword will make healing more flexible and profitable. Cards that have the Overheal effect will activate the effect when they are healed beyond their max health. Of course, this keyword will be a general keyword class for Priest like the Combo keyword for the Rogue class.
