Those accounts are still managed by Donald Trump’s entourage. Starting January 20, the day of the swearing-in, Twitter will pass the accounts to newly elected Joe Biden and his team.
“Twitter is actively preparing the transfer of the accounts on January 20,” Twitter spokesperson Nick Pacilio told Politico news site. Even if Trump still had not admitted defeat at that time. No information exchange with Trump’s entourage is required to transfer the accounts.
