The Magdy Yacoub Heart Center in Aswan announced that 4 cases of coronavirus infection were discovered, including 3 working in the security staff and a patient, and that all the areas where the infections were found were isolated, and the Ministry of Health was notified to take the necessary measures with sterilization of all areas and accurate tracking of all contacts in line with International and local guidelines.
The center said in a statement on its official page on “Facebook”, yesterday evening, Wednesday, that it has conducted periodic checks for all patients, workers and visitors attending the center to ensure that they are free of the Corona virus and in full coordination with the Ministry of Health.
In its statement, the center affirmed its keenness to provide its services to patients and those with urgent and unstable cases, while preserving their safety and that of the medical team and all workers. The center stated that it had taken all precautionary measures since the emergence of the Corona virus in Egypt.

And the Ministry of Health and Population announced that 29 of those infected with coronavirus have been discharged from the isolation hospital, including two foreigners, after receiving the necessary medical care and recovery according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, bringing the total of those recovering from the virus to 305 cases.
The health statement said that the number of cases whose laboratory results were converted from positive to negative for Coronavirus (Covid-19) increased to 439 cases, including the 305 recovered.
He added that 110 new cases that proved positive for laboratory analyzes of the virus, including two foreigners, were recorded as part of the ministry’s surveillance and investigation procedures, according to WHO guidelines, pointing to the death of 9 cases.
He said that all cases registered positive to the virus in isolation hospitals are subject to medical care, according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, and stated that the total number that was registered in Egypt with the new Corona virus is 1560 cases, including 305 cases that were cured and discharged from the isolation hospital, and 103 deaths .
The statement reiterated not to monitor any cases infected or suspected of being infected with the new Corona virus in all governorates of the Republic except what has been announced, indicating that once any infections appear, they will be announced immediately, in full transparency according to the international health regulations, and in coordination with the World Health Organization.
