And it is that the moments of training at that age help to improve aspects such as sleep, balance, breathing and even reduce the mortality rate, added to the fact that the periods of depression are put aside because people feel more alive , strength and with a better attitude.

If you are an older adult or you have someone by your side that you want to support, here are some routines that can be performed at this stage.

  • Hike
  • Swimming
  • Dance
  • Lift weights
  • Sports or family activities
  • Open your arms and hug
  • Biceps
  • Mowing the grass or watering plants
  • Yoga
  • Walking your pet

As you can read, the activities can range from specialized disciplines to activities that they practice in their daily routine, everything will depend on the condition and state of health of the person.

Regarding the time that older adults should carry out physical exercise, the World Health Organization (WHO) recommends that 65 years of age and older practice up to 150 minutes a week of aerobic activities, at least 10 of them a day.
