Images of Sucker Punch’s never-announced game appear online – Gaming – News

A video of a game by developer Sucker Punch that has never been released has appeared online. The footage of the game, called Prophecy, depicts a man escaping from a city via stealth and sword fighting.

It concerns more than eleven minutes of previously unseen images, which are now on different websites stand. The game shows a man named Abel Tvorah trying to get out of a dark, medieval-looking port city. In addition, he gets into a fight with guards, and he must try to escape with a combination of stealth and sword fighting. The game is set in a third person perspective.

The original file had the file name vertcle_slice_v46f_0115, what according to users of the ResetEra forum indicates one vertical slice, a demo that can be shown to studios. Readers of that forum say the video footage is originally from the website of Max Chapman, who heads character design at Sucker Punch. In addition to the video, character renders would also have appeared.

It is not known what the ultimate purpose of the demo images is. Maybe it’s a game the developer built before hitting the hit Ghost of Tsushima to start, but neither Sony nor Sucker Punch has commented on the leak.
