Images of reference GeForce RTX 3060 Ti hit the network

Resource VideoCardz shared images of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti in the reference version. The novelty is based on the GA104-200 graphics processor, the full version of which is used as the basis for the GeForce RTX 3070 model. Among other features of the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti, 8 GB of GDDR6 video memory with an effective operating frequency of 14 GHz and a 256-bit bus width should be distinguished.

The GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Founders Edition has the exact same cooling system as the GeForce RTX 3070 in the same reference design. The only visual difference between the two models is the lighter silver decorative elements of the CO shroud on the younger Ampere-based card.

For additional power, NVIDIA’s reference version of the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti uses a single proprietary 12-pin connector located at the top center of the GPU. By the way, many owners of reference versions of GeForce RTX 30 series video cards have already called this NVIDIA solution not very convenient and practical. It should be added that a special adapter for the power cable for the new connector will be included in the delivery set of the reference GeForce RTX 3060 Ti.

The youngest model of the GeForce RTX 30xxx family received 4864 CUDA cores, 152 tensor cores and 38 RT cores. From an earlier leak, it became known that the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti will generally be faster than the GeForce RTX 2080 Super model based on the Turing architecture, but at the same time cheaper than the latter. The expected cost of the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti is $ 399.

Some manufacturers have already prepared their non-reference versions of the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti. The card managed to light up in INNO3D iChill, ASUS TUF, Gigabyte EAGLE and Gaming Pro versions, as well as GALAX EX 1-Click OC.

The novelty will be officially presented on December 2.
