Kerala India, the Indian team of the United World Group, made their debut in the eighth. Former international IM Vijayan kicked off the inauguration at the Sitihaji Stadium.

Other clubs in the United World include Sheffield United in the English Premier League, Birshot in the Belgian League and Al Hilal United in the UAE. In the first phase, the goal is to play in the Kerala Premier League, I-League and ISL matches.
