Ilse Warringa from Dalfsen does not rule out the third season of De Luizenicide | Show

Actress Ilse Warringa (45), known as Juf Ank from The Lice Mother, does not rule out a third season of the hit series. “I have enough ideas for a sequel,” she told this site today. “I certainly want to discuss the impact that corona has on our education in a possible new season,” said Warringa who, together with Jan-Albert de Weerd, is responsible for the scenarios of The Lice Mother.

“A lot of people think so The Lice Mother does not come back because Diederik Ebbinge (who played the headmaster Anton, ed.) indicated that he was no longer interested in a third season. But I am so often asked about a sequel that I seriously think about it. ” The comic series was an absolute viewing figure gun. More than four million people sometimes watched it.

At the moment, Warringa is putting the finishing touches on the feature film version of The Lice Mother which will be released in theaters next year. Ebbinge is already missing, as is Henry van Loon who plays the handyman Volkert in the series. Their departure is met by some new characters, including a crisis manager (played by Dragan Bakema). The former building of the Twistvliedschool in Mijdrecht again forms the backdrop.

The Lice Mother (Avrotros) was broadcast in 2018 and 2019 and tells about the ups and downs at primary school De Klimop, where Miss Ank and director Anton hold sway. The series was awarded with the prestigious Nipkow disc. After two seasons, the curtain fell.
