The price of Iliad Fibra in France and the words of CEO Reynaud
So how much does fiber cost in France with Free, Iliad’s local brand? Let’s start with the words we have already reported from Thomas Reynaud, CEO of the Group. Who in a recent statement also spoke of a possible export here of Iliad high-tech devices, called Freebox Pop and Freebox Delta.
The Freebox is the special router produced by Iliad and which will perhaps also enter the homes of us subscribers to Iliad Fibra. For the occasion, we have already hypothesized, the device could be renamed Iliad Box.
In all ways, this device is at the heart of Free’s core offering in France, the Pop, which retails for € 29.99 per month. But beware, this is a triple-play offer that includes internet, landline telephony but also premium TV including Netflix, Prime Video and some prestigious Canal + programs (which is the local pay TV, like us Sky).
In addition to the many television contents provided by the Iliad fiber subscription, the Pop offer (and the more advanced one called Delta) include discounts of approximately 50% on the mobile subscription. What in the post a couple of days ago we defined the trend of convergence towards which Iliad will surely move in 2021.
Those who activate the fiber with Iliad will almost certainly have access to a super discounted mobile rate, designed specifically as a combo.
19.99 euros, fixed + mobile
In France it is in the convergence that Iliad makes the most. The basic fiber subscription, plus the mobile plan (not unlimited) are sold at a cost of only 19.99 euros all inclusive. A very good offer, given that we are talking about the French market, characterized by prices that are still much higher than ours. This price, translated here by us, could become even lower.
