Wow, what a new addition for downtown Linz: In autumn 2022, IKEA will open a planning studio in the heart of Linz! In the Passage Linz you will have the opportunity to get inspiration and professional advice and to order items from the entire IKEA product range. Hey Sweden!
After Dornbirn and St. Pölten, the Linz location is the third IKEA planning studio to open in Austria. The IKEA planning studio is an innovative concept that differs significantly from the classic IKEA furniture store, offering customers a new planning and shopping experience in the future. On a floor space of around 200m2, the Linz planning studio in the Passage shopping center will have the opportunity to get inspiration and advice, as well as to order items from the entire IKEA product range.
“With the IKEA Planning Studio Linz, we offer a sought-after on-site service and bring innovative furnishing ideas closer to our customers in the region. For our new location, we are currently looking for talented employees who would like to provide professional advice and develop with us,” says Ildiko Furjesova, Market Manager at IKEA Linz.
About IKEA Austria
The Swedish furniture company IKEA has now also been represented in Austria for more than 40 years: in 8 furniture stores, 2 planning studios, 2 planning stations, 2 logistics centres, 11 pick-up stations and various services, such as B. Click & Collect, around 3,600 IKEA employees provide non-stop inspiration.
“IKEA’s vision is to create a better everyday life for the many by offering beautiful, functional, affordable and high-quality home furnishings that are produced with care for people and the environment. With each of our products we try to make the home an even better place.
This also includes healthy and sustainable food, which IKEA offers its customers and employees in the IKEA restaurants, IKEA bistros and the Sweden shop. From sustainably sourced ingredients to meatless options and locally grown produce that taste great and are better for the planet too.
